Early Childhood Special Education

Santa Rosa City Schools provides Special Education services for preschool-aged children (3 to 5 years old), with mild to extensive support needs, who live within our District boundaries.  We serve students with a variety of Special Education eligibilities and strive to provide the best educational placement to meet a student’s preschool educational needs.  All services and placements are determined via the IEP process and are based on the individual child’s needs.

We also provide Early Start services for children from birth to 3 years of age who have a hearing loss and live in Sonoma County.
